A full-time permanent Design Engineer opportunity in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore for candidates who can work confidently with AutoCAD and MS Office. Experience with facade and fenestration systems is an advantage.
This role sits within the Technical Department and reports to the Technical Manager. The Design Engineer will translate architectural and project requirements into accurate shop drawings, material take-offs, Bills of Materials and production-related documentation.
The work also involves coordination with production teams, clients, architects and consultants, plus technical support for site surveys and installation activities.
Review architectural drawings and prepare detailed shop drawings aligned with project and tender requirements.
Prepare material take-offs and Bills of Materials based on drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Prepare production-related drawings and documents and coordinate with production for accurate fabrication and assembly.
Support site surveys and installation activities and resolve drawing or technical issues with internal and project teams.
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture or a related technical field.
AutoCAD and MS Office are mandatory for this position.
Knowledge of facade and fenestration systems is preferred.
SchueCal, Orgadata LogiKal or Eva experience/knowledge is an added advantage.
