Consultant Radiologist
Consultant Radiologist job in Palakkad, Kerala for an MD/DNB Radiodiagnosis professional with practical experience in CT, X-ray and Ultrasound. This is a full-time Consultant position in an established diagnostic and imaging centre, with approximately 15 CT, 50 X-ray and 55 Ultrasound cases per day.

Job Description / Role
- Independently report CT and X-ray examinations with accurate radiological interpretation.
- Perform and report Ultrasound examinations as required.
- Handle a varied and consistent diagnostic imaging case profile and provide timely reports.
- Review imaging findings and provide appropriate clinical impressions.
- Coordinate with referring clinicians and centre management as required.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism and patient care.
- Work independently at Consultant level with support from a team of technical staff.
Requirements
- Education: MD / DNB in Radiodiagnosis.
- Experience: Relevant experience in Radiology is preferred.
- Skills: Practical experience in CT, X-ray and Ultrasound reporting.
- Registration: KMC registration preferred.
- Professional capability: Ability to work independently at Consultant level and handle a consistent diagnostic imaging workload.
Radiology Workload & Imaging Infrastructure
The established diagnostic centre in Palakkad, Kerala handles approximately 15 CT cases, 50 X-ray cases and 55 Ultrasound cases per day. Imaging infrastructure includes GE Brivo 385 – 16-slice CT, Samsung HS50 Ultrasound and GE Voluson S10 Ultrasound, providing consistent exposure to a varied range of Radiology & Imaging cases.
