Doctor – Clinical Quality & Home Healthcare – Role & Responsibilities
- Define practical SOPs and clinical standards for nurses and physiotherapists across in-scope home healthcare services.
- Develop protocols for post-surgery recovery, wound care, injections and physiotherapy, helping maintain consistent clinical standards across home visits.
- Build quality, safety and patient-experience frameworks, with clear competency expectations and continuous improvement for frontline clinical teams.
- Define emergency protocols and escalation pathways for home-visit scenarios, including practical criteria for hospital or specialist referral.
- Support clinical recruitment, screening and vetting of nursing and physiotherapy professionals, and provide clinical input on service scope, governance and applicable regulatory matters where required.
Doctor – Clinical Quality & Home Healthcare – Candidate Requirements
- Education: MBBS required; MD or another postgraduate medical qualification is preferred. Experience: 3+ years of post-graduation experience.
- Coordination: Comfortable working with nurses, physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication, coordination and documentation skills. Clinical skills: Strong clinical judgement, patient-safety orientation and the ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical SOPs and protocols.
- Registration: Active medical registration required. Relevant background: Home healthcare, hospital operations, clinical quality, clinical governance, patient safety or healthcare operations experience is relevant.
About the Organization
This is a full-time weekday role with a growing home healthcare platform focused on structured, high-quality care delivered at patients’ homes. The position combines clinical judgement with practical systems, quality and governance work. An approximate 3 office + 2 WFH arrangement may be considered from January, as stated in the current opportunity.
