Clinical leadership for home-based care

The role combines clinical judgement with practical systems thinking to improve quality, safety and patient experience.

Clinical SOPs & standards

  • Define SOPs for nurses and physiotherapists across in-scope services.
  • Develop practical protocols for post-surgery recovery, wound care, injections and physiotherapy.
  • Help maintain consistent clinical standards across home visits.

Quality & staff performance

  • Build a performance framework covering quality, safety and patient experience.
  • Support continuous improvement in frontline clinical service delivery.
  • Help establish clear competency expectations for clinical teams.

Emergency & escalation

  • Define emergency protocols for home-visit scenarios.
  • Establish clear escalation pathways for clinical concerns.
  • Set practical criteria for hospital or specialist referral.

Service scope & governance

  • Help define nursing and physiotherapy services delivered in-house.
  • Identify services or cases requiring partner or hospital referral.
  • Provide clinical input on applicable regulatory and clinical-establishment matters alongside legal counsel, where required.

Clinical recruitment & vetting

  • Support recruitment of nursing and physiotherapy professionals.
  • Participate in clinical screening and vetting of candidates.
  • Help establish appropriate clinical competency standards.
